Hi Conchita. Let me tell you something about me. I’m from Venezuela. I had lived more than 30 years in Caracas but I was born in a very small town called Goaigoaza. It’is a village of mountain with 70 families, or a little more. In my town are two rivers and is near to centre of the capital of the district Puerto Cabello (Hair Port). This is a very important city because has the main commercial port of the country. Paradoxically, there isn’t university and young people need to study in another cities or emigrate, like my family. Well, I hope had written good and correct me please If I did not. By the way, you have an Spanish name. Where are you from? See you later. Hugs

Beeesneees,
Sorry for asking in the forum. It is a bit off-topic.

Could you tell me why you didn’t use “You used the wrong preposition.”?

#5686

NO, I can’t tell you why I chose one phrase over the other. I didn’t think about it. I just used the one that came naturally to me.

Could you tell me why you didn’t use “You used the wrong preposition.”?[/quote

if we use that you’ve used the wrong preposition it means the result and impact of that act is still left but if we use that you used the wrong preposition it means the the action is done and there is no result and impact of that act is left. thanks i hope it will clear your confusion

#5695

If you wish to use your analysis, the impact is still left and there is a result because your message with that preposition is included.
