Simple Present Questions (Unit 8)

Does she work downtown - ‘in’ is not needed with downtown or uptown. The ‘up’/‘down’ already provides enough in terms of location.
Does she live far from the country? - he/she does.
The rest are good.

Hello Sunny

Do you speak another language?
Do you like to play foot ball?
Does your friend speak english?
Do you like to travalling around the world ?
Does your friend like you?
Does your family live in the USA ?

Regard

Sidala

Hi Sidala,

‘Football’ is one word.
‘English’ requires a capital letter E.
Do you like to travel around the world? or Do you like travelling around the world?

The rest are great.

hi sir
Do you happy ?
Does she happy with us ?
Do we happy to go their ?
Does he run fast at the Race ?
Do I study very well for the exam ?
Does it write ?
Do they go to school ?

You have used the wrong verb for some of those, Vijayrpotda.

Are you happy?
Is she happy with us?
Are we happy to go there?
Does he run fast in the race?
Am I studying very well for the exam?
Does it write?
Do they go to school?

Do I go to the mall?
Do I tell him?
Do you know the one who is talking to her?
Do we know each other?
Does she play piano?
Do they go to theater?

Hi HumbertoDeOz,

Does she go to the theater?

The others are okay but you haven’t always chosen the best verb to match the sentence.

For example:
Do I tell him?
would probably not be used in the simple present tense, but in the future tense, using the verb ‘to be’:
Shall I tell him?

Oh right, that make sense for me lol. Thank you.

Dear Sunny

Thanks alot for Unit 9

Do you speak anather langauge?

Does any one know me?

Do you always teach english?

Do you check your email every day ?

Does you friends like listening to music?

Sidala

Hi Sidala,

Do you always teach English?
Do your friends like listening to music?

The rest are fine.

Do you like teaching?
Does your brother play tennise?
Do you go to shopping?
Does she speak english?
Do you know him?

tennis - no ‘e’ on the end.
go shopping - no ‘to’
English - capital letter ‘E’.

Other than that, they’re great.

Thank for the lesson number 8

Do you speak English?
Does she speak English?
Do you open the door?
Do you like vegetable?
Does she go to the theatre?
Do you work for that?
Does she read the books?

Do you like vegetables?.. use the plural there.

Hello sir,
I like this pen so much.
He loves me.
She goes to school.
It looks like a Camel.
Do you work hard.

Thank You

Hi,

Camel does not need a capital letter ‘c’.

Your last sentence is a question so should end with a question mark instead of a full stop.

Other than that those are great.

Hye Beeesneees.

Help me with a big dilema:
“I don’t have a cat.” or “I haven’t a cat.”? I know the good one is the first but I don’t know why. And in what situations I can use the second form?
Stoicescu

As far as I’m concerned they can be used interchangeably. Often ‘got’ is used in the second form: I haven’t got a cat.

Thank you!

I haven’t got any other question.

S.

hi,

Do you like to play?
Does she sings?
Do they play together?

are my sentences right.
