Reddit vs Facebook

What do you think are the differences between Reddit and Facebook? For me, the biggest difference is that Facebook has long since reached its plateau in terms of innovation and growth, while Reddit is just getting started and will continue to gain momentum. The user experience on Reddit is so much better than what Facebook has to offer. Reddit has already begun to successfully transition from Web2 to We3, while Facebook is still stuck in a hierarchical top-down structure reminiscent of early feudal times.

I don’t use either one. Facebook is a business built around violating peoples’ rights. As far as I’m concerned both FB and Google should be completely shut down, and the likes of Zuckerberg, Page and Brin should be thrown in prison.

I have very little experience with Reddit. I occasionally read links to something, but I don’t know much about it. It’s basically a big forum. much like CompuServe and Yahoo Groups were in the past.

In my view, Facebook continues to reign on the social media. If Reddit offers better user experience, FB is soon to incorporate still better one. We have reached a stage where we can’t do or live without a social forum!

Reddit is so much different than Facebook. Reddit has a system that allows users to rate the value of other users’ contributions, using a point system for both posts and comments. In this way, each contributor receives points that contribute to their overall Reddit Karma, and there is a whole reward system that makes the whole process more transparent and comprehensive. Furthermore, the advertising on Reddit is not half as intrusive as the Facebook garbage
