Present progressive vs simple present

Are both of these sentences grammatically correct?

  1. Airlines drive me round the bend! You can never get simple information from them when you phone them up.
  2. Airlines are driving me round the bend! You can never get simple information from them when you phone them up.

The former is a habitual attitude of the airlines that you face while the latter can be your current suffering.
