So which word is more common where you live? Autumn or Fall?
How many seasons do you have? What are they called?
I think most Europeans would agree that there are four seasons, similar to the rest of the world, and they are spring, summer, fall/autumn and winter.
I asked because there are places where four seasons don’t make much sense. For example at the equator the sun is directly overhead twice a year. So are there two summers and two winters? Instead of spring, summer, fall and winter, they might have the dry season and monsoon season.
We say in this order: Winter, Spring, Summer and Autumn.
