I LOVE YOU.

Every song I ever sang,
I sang it just for you.
And every time I wrote a poem,
Each time I thought of you.
'Cos I love you,
Yes,I love you,
Yes,I love you,
Yes, I do.

Every dream I ever had,
Were always dreams of you.
And every time I fell asleep,
I fell asleep with you.
'Cos I love you,
Yes, I love you,
Yes, I love you,
Yes, I do.

And every single prayer I prayed,
They were all for you,
I prayed we’d be together,
Even though they won’t come true.
'Cos, I love you,
Yes, I love you,
Yes, I love you,
Yes, I do.

So through my songs,
My poems and words.
I try to ease the pain,
I know I’m only dreaming,
We will never meet again.
Still, I love you,
Yes, I love you,
Yes, I love you,
Yes, I do.

Hi,
it’s very nice and romantic! it can be a beautiful song!

Sorry to burst your bubble, but I made it up in the shower this afternoon. Took five minutes to compose, and five minutes to type.

Life’s a bitch isn’t it.

Kitos.

Hi Kitosdad,

do you play an instrument? Because if you do, it would be really neat if you composed a little melody to these lyrics and then played it with your guitar or piano or whatever and sang the words. Or take a shower and sing them as loud as you can. Either way, don’t forget to press the “Record voice message” button and post it on here when you’re done.

I think we’d all enjoy that a lot.

Claudia

Thanks for the compliments ladies.

It didn’t start out to be a song, but I guess the, “I love you” repetition comes over that way.

As for singing; my voice is long past it’s sell-by date, even in the bathroom.
I don’t play an instrument.
I don’t write music.

Just let me continue to write. If you want to sing it , you have my consent.

Hi Claudia,

Why don’t you sing Bill’s ditty? I’m sure we’d all like that too. No offence, Bill.

Alan

Hi Alan,

nah, I couldn’t that! You’d all run away with bleeding ears!

Claudia

Tell you what Alan, you sing it and I will AFTER you!

Bill.

Hi,

First Claudia, then you. I’ll then judge who’s better.

Alan

Alan, I’m certain your dulcet tones would go down far better than my Geordie voice.

Nope, Alan, first Bill, then you, and maybe, JUST MAYBE, I’ll give it a try.

Claudia

Be fair Claudia, I invited Alan first.

Now, come on, it has to be ladies first!

A

I do agree!

Okay then, first Alan, then you, and maybe . . . just maybe . . .

Nawar … how come no-one has mentioned Nawar?

But the saying goes: It ain’t over until the fat lady sings. Well, you all go ahead and sing first, and then I’ll go and get a fat lady to sing. How’s that?

Ooopppps.

Hi,

As a great admirer of the singer Maurice Chevalier I will make a brave attempt to give a rendition of the first stanza of the poem by Mister Bill:

Every song I ever sang,
I sang it just for you.
And every time I wrote a poem,
Each time I thought of you.
'Cos I love you,
Yes,I love you,
Yes,I love you,
Yes, I do.

Thank you for listening and now I will go and lie down in a darkened room.

Alain

Alan, that was great! Well, I’m still searching for a fat lady willing to sing a stanza, but so far no luck. I’m sure, though, by the time Bill has honored us with his singing voice, I’ll have found a fat lady to sing for us.
