How To Sign Up

  1. Check the list below for the current dates and times.
  2. Post here in the topic thread or send me a private message to let me know which dates you wish to participate in.
  3. Send me a private message with your Skype ID so I can add you to my Skype. (Please note that this forum requires you to make 5 posts before you can send a private message.)

Information

  1. Each session lasts a maximum of 2 hours.
  2. Each session has a maximum of 6 to 8 participants. (Not including myself)
  3. Each session is recorded and shared with others.
  4. Please sign into Skype 5-10 minutes before the start of the session. I will call everyone into a group at this time.
  5. Please make sure your microphone and speakers (or headset) are working properly before the session starts.
  6. Please be on time. If for some reason you will be late, send me a message beforehand to let me know; otherwise I will give your spot to someone else.
  7. If there are fewer participants, the session may not run the full 2 hours.
  8. If you are unsure about the time difference, you can check this website timeanddate.com/worldclock/ Look for a city in your timezone and compare it with the time in Amsterdam (which is my timezone).

I answered that if I would have authotity or I would be the Prime Minister I would take away the flat-tax and “intruduce for the rich the progressive tax.”-I didn’t say it so clearly only I wanted to say.
I have to say something about the flat-tax because I heard the question what it is?

I read articles and I confirm:

Hungary’s problem is the tax-system.

“In 2013 the tax rate in Hungary for an individual is 16%.
Hungary’s taxation of an individual’s income is flat.”
See the maths: The middle class whose monthly income is 100 000 Ft. pays 16 000 Ft tax and a the rich whose monthly income is 1 000 000 forints (or far more the sky is the limit )they don’t have to pay a progressive taxation. But they pay in the same way 16%= 160 000 Ft . So they enrich and the state has less revenue from the taxation. The 80 % of the population impoverish .The 20 % of the population -for whom this taxation is favourable, they support the government –and due to this taxation they become richer and richer. The economists waste their breath that the reason of poverty is the flat tax, there is no helping it. The government needs this thankful rich layer because they gave their vote to them at the re-election…

“A flat tax would shift tax obligations from the rich to the poor, and especially the middle class, and eliminate desirable tax incentives for retirement savings, home ownership, and charitable contributions. Simple? Yes. Efficient and equitable? Not so much.”

I would have told this fluently but I couldn’t. Practice makes perfect.

Then, as you are interested joining in the ‘Free Skype speaking sessions’ you would be able to pass on your Skype ID to Megan or Yuri & I. To take part in the Megan’s Skype sessions you are to enlist your name following her schedules posted in this topic page. And for joining in the ‘Sunday/Wednesday Skype sessions’ if you are online on the scheduled time, you’ll be included in the group call made normally by Yuri or I.
