hello to all !

we have today in our english course ask a lot of German translated in english
and then we heard some texts in order to listen to different things and then gaps in texts to enter.

On our English course today we aksed a lot of questions in German then translated them into English (Is this what you mean?)

Then we listened to some texts and had to enter the correct words into gaps in some texts.

Hallo friends,
Today in the morning This morning we remebered on revised the lessons from the last week. We reperat repeated some things and learned new vokablesvocabulary.
Than Then we had an presentation[s] of[/s ]from Pizza-Hut, an international company, which sales sells pizza on in many countries of the world.
To be relaxed, we have seen a brain-play. (I don’t understand this sentence)
At lunch we had Spaghetti with Bolognese. It was very delicious:

After the lunch we first we read one presentation of from the Swatch Group.
The teacher tells us, than then told us we have to do 10 tests in every day as prepared to prepare for the TOEIC Test during the lessions lessons.

I look forward to meeting you all on January 31. Since I have never been to Nordhausen, for our first meeting, I would like to ask you to prepare a short presentation and give me your advice about:
-accommodation (one example each:hotel, motel, hostel, bed-and-breakfast)
-public transport
-tourist attractions in your area (castles, museums, theaters)

While reading your posts, I’ve learned that, for instance, Wolfgang is a Beatles fan. Let’s all post the name of our favourite artist and the type of music we prefer to listen to.
I will post mine, as well:

I like classical music and my favourite composer is J. S. Bach. I also like progressive rock music and my favourite band is Pink Floyd.

Thanks for your answer about the fanta. In Nordhausen, the country we were from,today is raining the whole day, The weather isn´t beautiful, but we spend our time to learn english. So we have a fine time. What do you do in the moment? Now the answer for your question : The brain play is an internetplay, where your brain have to realise in what direction the dancer have moved. Is there an other word? Have a nice time,

Many thanks for your swift answer. You maybe want to choose one of your favourite songs and introduce the band to the group. (just a hint: maybe the band has a concert in Germany this year. You can do some online research and find out where the concert will be, how to travel from Nordhausen to the location of the concert, how one can buy tickets for the concert and how much a ticket costs).

• If you are an English rock band
• they have two concerts in Germany in 2011

Foo Fighters : -> My favorite song are Best of you

• They were founded in 1995
  -They are an American rock band
  -The drummer is a former member of nirvana
• This year they do not give concerts in Germany

My favorite song are Smoke on the water . ( My favourite song is ‘Smoke on the Water’) because you used a singular subject and this always takes a singular verb).My favorite song are Best of you. (The same rule applies to this sentence).

thanks a lot for your message. Yes, I’m coming as soon as possible. Unfortunately my wife is in the hospital again, because her backaches were increased strongly and so I have to care for my wife and my mother-in-law. I think I’m back on Thursday or Friday …

So, yesterday as I couldn’t sleep I’ve read a book written by Rudyard Kipling (author of the novel (in German) “Dschungelbuch” (English “The Jungle Book”) and there I’ve found a little poem:

I keep six honest serving-men
(They taught me all I knew);
Their names are WHAT and WHY and WHEN
And HOW and WHERE and WHO.

This poem reminds me of our first lesson - Questions and Interrogatives

With this little input to our lessons I send you all

Report about my day yesterday

Yesterday after my English course I had a little break.

During the break I went with my mother to have something to eat.

Then I went to my other course. It is a training course which lasted until 8:30.

The topic of last night’s session was how to deliver a training seminar and give instructions to students.

After the trainer course I went home by car.

Before I went to bed I watched the BBC on TV.

ACDC -> My favorit song is hells hells

• They were founded in 1973 in Scotland
• They are an Australian hardcore band
• This year they are not giving any concerts in Germany

Finally, here is a good German band I have found:

Beatsteaks -> My favorite song is Milk & Honey and hey du (It’s a German song.)

• They were founded in 1993
• They sing in English and in German
• This year they are giving many concerts in Germany and they are also performing at many festival throughout the country.

Hello everybody,
thanks a lot for your message. I’m very glad about it. Because my wife receives intensive care treatment this week and I think the next week too, I can’t concentrate on the contents of the English lessons, although I do practice every day - a little bit reading and writing too as you can see at the moment. Your asking for my doing: Yes - similar to New Year’s Eve “The same procedure as every day” I’m going with my mother-in-law to the town of Nordhausen in an half hour , because she has to see the doctor, in this case an eye specialist, afterwards I’d like to visit my wife in the hospital today together with my mother-in-law … … ;-))
In the meantime I hope to have enough time to visit you, since I have to submit my certificate of illness to Mrs. Thomas. And I’m very sure that I’ll meet you again in this occasion.
