Do you think it is moral for a billionaire...

Dear Learners,

Do you think it is moral for a billionaire to live in a one billion Dollar apartment with some hundreds of servants when some millions of his country men are homeless and starving.

Is he really rich?

Personally, I disgust this type of rich man.

kind regards.

A rich person in the US or any other civilized country has created a lot of value. In order to become a billionaire in the US you need to provide a lot of service and value to a lot of people. Take Larry Page and Sergey Brin for example. They have created a system that has helped millions of people around the world to live better lives.

In corrupt and feudal countries some of the rich people might be criminal crooks but at any rate they have a higher level of self-discipline and willingness to succeed than the poor majority.[YSaerTTEW443543]

TOEIC listening, photographs: An electrician[YSaerTTEW443543]

I think you are right to some extent. But not to the core.

I’m for the poor majority whose dignity, privilege and humanity are robbed by those monsters and associates. Organized, syndicated crime?

It seems you’ve never experienced purely hellish lives of the deprived human beings. You should visit Burma and some poor countries of the world.

Take no offense, East Germany and the livelihood of its people in those days were much much better than the poor majority under the heaven’s of the so called billionaires in Asia and alike. You are only seeing the thrown out bones to the poor , just to worship them. It’s a simple trick the rich do.

If there’s equal opportunity everyone can be a winner. As I have shown as an example on your site . An Asian from nowhere is now No. 9 of the top 100 of the English Test in a considerably short time.

Anyhow, a billion dollar house is too much , isn’t it?

You know, some rich men of Burma, world’s poorest country, are building golf courses and mansions in competing against each other. When most of its girls ( 99 percent are single mothers ) are earning to live as prostitutes. I hope you can see more inside into the consequences.

So It’s absolutely immoral to me.

My facts may be somehow useful when the west looks into the east.

kind regards.

kind regards,

The country of the Billionaire has an unemployment rate of almost 10 per cent out of a population of One billion and one hundred and seventy thousand plus.

I can’t even calculate the population of the jobless? 100 millions? Can you imagine how they drink, sleep and eat. In the rain, under the scorching sun and when it’s freezing.

I wonder what Ghandi would say. What Confucius would remark.

Oh I’m not a communist. I just have a glance behind the curtains.

kind regards,

Dear Mr. Kyaw

Most billionaires like to help for the love of others. They do charity work for those desperately in need. They dedicate their time and money to help others behind the camera. Some help the poor just to get tax break or publicity.
In my opinion, charity is a part of culture. For example, Scandinavian countries are the most generous people in the world. In contrast, some countries believe that charity is only to the extended families.

Kind Regards,

kk

Dear Mr. Kyaw,

I know the current job situation in so bad, but it is too depressing to look at the statics.

Thank you for providing so much information,

kk

Dear KK,

Thank you…

But you don’t get my point. I’m not talking about the charity. Think what is the true definition of rich. How can you live in a billion dollar apartment in the area of millions of homeless. That’s filthy. Filthily rich? lol.

It is not moral if someone wastes water in front of the thirsty people? True rich man won’t do that. True rich man would help everyone get decent life. With his wealth. His wealth won’t disappear since he knows how to make money?

KK, when you learn, learn everything you can apart from the grammar books, read anything in front of you, if not , search for something to read. Read a lot of management and marketing books, they have very rich information about the particular subjects plus precious thinking of the writers. Most of them are true rich men. If you are educated you can improve a lot of people’s lives, by showing them to the right path of life. Even you are not rich yourself.

When you are well educated and when you are rich, please, don’t forget my words.

Don’t insult the poor with your riches. It’s just an act of animal. <<

kindest regards.

kyaw.

That rich guy employs all the servants. Without him they may be living on the street, or even be working as prostitutes.

If you take all that man’s billion dollars away and redistribute it, everybody in the world get 14 cents.

As Kkebe says, those people perform a lot of charity, and whether it’s done for altruistic or selfish reasons, it still helps people. He can’t help everybody, because it costs more than 14 cents to help someone.

By the way Kkebe, the Scandinavians aren’t the most generous people in the world, but merely among the most socialist. That means that they are good at confiscating money from the most productive people and giving it to the less productive, after the government takes its cut. Generally, people in socialist countries don’t give as much to charity as people in countries that do not confiscate as much of people’s income. When that tsunami happened in Southeast Asia several years ago, some Norwegian poobah in United Nations called Americans “stingy” because of the amount our government gave to relief efforts. However, because ordinary people are generous here, total donations from the US dwarfed those of every other nation except Japan.

Mr.Jamie K,

I’m not talking about charity, but morality. You got that?

On what so called rich people are insulting the poor, intentionally or unintentionally. If you don’t mind, when you see Asia, think like the Asians do, don’t think like an American, which can make your thinking cloudy.

kind regards.

The mere existence of the rich insults the poor? That attitude leads – also in Asia – to purges and confiscations. The purges and confiscations lead to despotism, famine and worse misery than the nation started with. Be careful what you wish for.

Due to your envy, you may actually be more evil than the rich man.

You can’t know I envy them. I’m not. Even you are a qualified psychologist, you can’t always read someone’s mind correctly . You may be a rich man because you are with them. Good.

But why you don’t answer my question? moral or not. That’s what I like to know from the readers. Nothing else.

kind regards.

I don’t have to be a qualified psychologist to detect your envy of the rich. You display it so frequently that it’s unmistakable.

My question start with Do you think it is moral …?

So the answer should be only Yes. I think or No. I don’t think . Sorry for my poor English.

kind regards.

How can you know I envy him. You must have god’s eyes.

If you know how an ordinary man can be more evil than an inconsiderate rich man. Please teach me. I’ve never learnt that kind of invaluable thinking and method in any books in my life.

kind regards.

I think you read a lot of my writings and you envy me?

But sorry to say I don’t read yours. Because I can’t learn anything from your writings.

Envy my popularity?

An Asian from nowhere is more popular than a big country man? No way…

Don’t read than anymore, It can be contagious.

Learning Time!

kind regards.

Reading maketh a full man.

kind regards.

Dear KK,

I believe that you said the Scandinavians are the most generous. For I know what , where and who are they. You people have very early civilization. So you people are highly civilized people who know what is moral and what is immoral. And you believe in charity in any way. No wonder. Alfred Bernhard Nobel is a Scandinavian, a Swedish to be exact.

I believe in Scandinavian cultures and generosity. Since I believe in true races.

And I can see it in your expression to the topic.

Bye for now KK, I have a submarine to catch.

kind regards.

kyaw.

+P.S one more thing KK , I know you people are huge, graciously I mean.

Dear Mr. Kyaw,

It is complicated for me to answer if it is morally right or wrong.

In my opinion no it is not morally right. Because I believe we have to help each other, especially when my country people are starving while I am having an extravagant life. It is impossible for me to ignore what is going around me. It is also embarrassing to receive a donation from another country while I can make a difference. I believe I should be a role made to my people before seeking help from outside. In reality, it is easy said than done.

It is difficult to judge if the person is morally right or wrong because helping the less fortunate should come from the heart not because of moral obligation.

Some rich people do not understand what being poor means, because they probably inherited the wealth.

The Maslow’s hierarchy of needs states that every person has a desire to move up the hierarchy toward a level of self-actualization. The growth of self-actualization refers to the needs for personal growth. In this stage, a person will find a meaning in his life that is important to him. So, the hardworking millionaire may strive to fulfill his desire.

Kind regards,

kk

hope you can understand my writing.

Dear Mr. Kyaw,

I did not understand the “you people” Mr. Kyaw? lol
Dear Mr. Kyaw,

I thought the Scandinavians countries were the most generous people on earth. UN mentions their work a lot. In addition, when I travel, I see their nonprofit organization pretty much everywhere.

As you can picture, I do not have much knowledge and experience on the subject. However, I have learned a lot as always.

Have a safe trip Mr. Kyaw! Where are you traveling?

I will talk to you soon,

kk
