Hi Rezaforu,
As far as I’m concerned, I see two identical sentences. What exactly is it that you want to know?
Hi
Sorry for late reply. I’ve got a bad cold.
Maybe it’s flu. I’m better now.
Maybe this question is not worth consuming too much time. I don’ know!
Sentence #1
The first sentence is certainly correct.
Sentence #2
I tried to fit the word ‘character’ in line 1 but it didn’t fit.
Now, idefinite article ‘a’ is in line 1 and the word ‘character’ is in line 2.
Is this correct or not?
Thank you.
They are both correct, as you may have been able to infer since others didn’t see what problem you were referring to.
There’s no requirement for “a” and “character” to be on the same line.
I never said there was a problem or that the sentences were incorrect. I merely stated that I saw two identical sentences. As far as I’m concerned, there wasn’t a problem to begin with and therefore none that could possibly be detected. I only asked what exactly Rezaforu wanted to know. As for your sincere forwardness, I did know that there is no requirement for these two words to be on the same line.
In fact, Rezaforu answered her own question. There’s nothing wrong with the second sentence; it is merely a little text arrangement, if you like, that she thought was wrong, but appeared to be correct, as she so clearly indicated in her clarification. Well done, Rezaforu.
Hi there,
I hope your cold passes quickly. Get well soon!
Thank you so much, Arinker
