Why to go or why go?

Hi everybody,
What is a correct way to say why to go on foot or why go on foot?
Thank you very much.

Hello Yemel,

You can say “Why go on foot?”

It’s even easier to say “Why walk?”

A: I walk three miles to school every day.
B: Why go on foot when you could easily take the bus?

Hi,
Thanks a lot. Have a nice day.

In standard English we use Why do you walk or go on foot?

Hello Wanderer,

It is also quite standard to use questions such as “Why walk?” or “Why go on foot?”
I provided an appropriate context for this sort of question in my first post. Have you never seen such a question before?

Hi Esl_Expert,
Do not pay attention to him.
He is picking on everybody.
Thanks again for your answer.

I just heard but never seen. Picking on? I’m very normal.
