(a) have been lived
(b) all
(c) move
(d) one

Test No. [color=blue]errors/inter-8 “Tenses”, answer 6

I have lived in the same town all my life and I do not want to move to another one.

Correct entry: have lived
The error was: (a) have been lived

You have [color=green]found the error but your entry is [color=red]incorrect.
I have been living in the same town all my life and I do not want to move to another one.

Hi Igor,

It’s probably OK to use the Present Perfect Progressive in the sentence you are referring to although ‘I have lived’ is more often used than ‘I have been living’ because using the progressive form stresses the intensity of an activity. For example: ‘I have been working since 9 in the morning non stop’.[YSaerTTEW443543]

TOEIC listening, question-response: What do you think of our new manager?[YSaerTTEW443543]

Then it should be an option, right? I’ve done this test… and my answer was “have been living”…
