Who’s at the door?
Does the sentence imply that there is only one person at the door? Could it be more than one?
Thanks!

In all likelihood there is only one person at the door. However, it’s still possible that more than one person is waiting at the door. Usually, you ask 'Who’s at the door" when you don’t know how many people are. However, regardless of how many people are at the door, the question would still be the same.
A practice-based answer, Torsten. I concur with you in full.
