What’s the difference between these two words (subjuncive pronouns?) Who and Whom? Does “Who” refers to subject part of a sentence and “Whom” to a predicate??
e.g. This is Tom, who is 46, and live in London
This is Tom, whom you met before.
p.s. are the commas put correctly? I’m not sure…
Hi Michal,
You might want to read this who vs. whom. Let me know what you think.

I get it now. Simply, I understand it as “Whom” to be connected with the predicate of a sentence and “who” with an object, as I wrote before.I compare it with polish sentences and it seems to be quite similar. I asked because I wasn’t sure. I read an english grammar book yesterday and the author wrote that “Whom” is rarely used nowadays. It was strange for me because there is a difference between these pronouns, but this exclamantion you gave seems to be complicated for me. Thx for help
