Who is your daddy?

Hi all
I was watching a film in which someone was asking a girl who was dancing on stage " Who is your daddy?" repeatedly.
I Google the expression and read about it on Wikipedia but I am afraid to say I could understand the meaning, could anyone explain me about this expression?
Regards,
Swan

It doesn’t really mean anything – it’s just a phrase that, in the given context, carries slightly sexual overtones. (Perhaps it has something to do with the expression “sugar daddy” – a role the speaker would have liked to take on?) He was basically flirting with the girl on the stage.

Thank you so much Cristina.ro

Who’s your daddy? is a slang expression that, in one use, takes the form of a rhetorical question. It is commonly used as a boastful claim of dominance over the intended listener.

and to tell you the truth it is not so clear for me.

I suppose the explanation you’ve quoted refers to a different kind of situation, for example when an adversary is badly beaten in a game:

Bob: I’ve just scored 14-2 on your sorry butt!
Jack: <Bleep, bleep> (Some bad word.)
Bob: Who’s your daddy?
