While?

Isn’t it better to say

The job is very interesting but paid badly.

  1. While I don’t approve of what you did, I’m not going to punish you for it.

Isn’t it better to use “Even though” instead of “While”?

1-- The original is fine. ‘Paid badly’ does not work in your alternative.
