My name is abdou, I am 48 years old, I am from Algeria, I live in the south of my country excatly in a town called El-golea near the city called Ghardaia. I am a petroleum technician, I have 25 years in this field.
I am a honnest, friendly person with humor, open minded and would like to meet English speaking friends over the world.
My dream is to speak English fluently and easily for many reasons, but I am a little shy to speak to someone in English. I am studing English by my own, I know that I am so old for that but I promise my self to do my best to learn this language until I reach my goal. I like chatting in English and make real friends with new people of any age, but until now I have just one friend.
I use my English by reading some emails, listening some mp3 files, sometimes watching Tv, really I have no method for learning, I not progress very well, I need some practice, and some advice.

I am French and I live in Pertuis, which is in the Vaucluse in the South East of France. The Vaucluse is in Provence and its main town is called Avignon. However where I live is much nearer to Aix en Provence that Iām sure youāve already heard of. In summer there are lots of festivals : lyrics in Aix and theater in Avignon. More and more English and American people come to live in this part of France but it is not so easy to get to know them and communicate. Thatās why I am keen to get in touch with anyone who wants to speak English with me. Unfortunately I am sometimes confused with the way of handling the forum but Iām not desperate and I think Iāll come to terms with it. Anyway thank you to correct my mistakes. The tests and exercises are really useful and sometimes challenging.

My name is Abdelhamid, I am from Morocco, I am retired but currently I am working in Tangier as a legal adviser for a company.
I live in a nice town in the north of Morocco which name is Tangier, My town has two nicest seas. So I like to swim since my childhood. My language is Arabic and I learn English, French, Spanish, German and Norwegian.
I learnt English in a secondary school. After more than twenty years, I found my self obliged to study English again with my sons. So, I have done as much as I could, but I still canāt read, write and speak English fluently because Iām learning it on my own.
I have travelled several times to Spain and Norway and I crossed many European countries.
I like learning languages, because I feel more freedom doing that. Therefore I master Arabic, I speak French, Spanish and Iām learning English, Norwegian and German. Also, I like learning languages in order to speak with each one by his own language. This way let me know more about his history, civilisation and culture.
I loved music and I learnt it. I can play two musical instruments : Louth and Violin, but I lost this ability because I dedicate more time to languages.
I appreciate your lessons and tests and I ask you to correct my mistakes if I have made any.

ItĀ“s a wonderfull city with 42 beaches and many green areas. People from all over the world came here as tourists and some of them decide to live here after see the beauties of nature and the quality of life. I realy enjoy so much to live in Florianopolis. But I know that are others wonderfull cities in world and a want to know a little about different cultures, thoughts and ways of see life. I am Nakamura from Japan. At present I am doing my postgraduate study. So English is immense important for me in scientific communications. I am learning to write scientific articles. So I am reading at least few papers a day. I need to communicate at oral presentations. So I want to improve my listening and speaking skills.
In Japan, everything is expensive. I have to work part time basis while studding. But, working places are also everywhere and they pay us quite well. I am enjoying working too. I have small mp3 player and I am listening to English talks while I am going to work place. I go to work three four days per week in the evening hours. Everyday I have to walk on street about 40 minute. I donāt take a bus so I can save 200 yen and same time I can listen to English. Two advantages at a time isnāt it?. Ohā¦.noā¦noā¦. three advantageā¦ You know walking is better to health too.
Not only that, it refreshes my mind after about 8 hours of work in front of my computer since everyday morning.
Do you want to know what sort of mp3 I am listeningā¦ā¦ ?
I read all the email that I receive from the online course but difficult to manage time to do all on time.
But I will not give up.

My country has a wonderful seaside. A boy from Japan have written that He did everyday 40 minutes walk listening english. Its a good idea.
