Dear All,
Here, Muchtarom, but just call me Muchtar, I’m Indonesian and currently I’m enrolled at Gadjah Mada University, Indonesia with major in Engineering Physics. Many foreigner said that Indonesia is beautiful country, one of the world’s biggest country in the term of the number of population, also is well known as the most populous Muslim country throughout the world. Definitely with large area too. What amazing,unfortunately in economy my country is still considered developing country, with GPA of about US$ 1,100. Actually we have many resources, I assure you that Indonesia has been known as the world’s biggest country in exploring and exploiting coal.

Hi Sylla,

Welcome to our forum. You can improve your English immediately if you change some of your typing habits:

Start each sentence with a capital letter.
Capitalize the personal pronoun “I”.
Separate each sentence with a space.
Capitalize the word English.
Put a full stop at the end of each sentence.

All of the things I’ve mentioned above are very basic rules of the English language.

Hi everyone,
I am glad to know that I am not writing to a machine but to real people. My name is (really) Chokri Khalaf and I am a teacher - of English! I have used my name and e-mail address to subscribe for my daughters who are 13 and 15 and have real problems with spelling and pronunciation. I must say that English is our third language; we are from Tunisia so we speak Arabic, French and then we start learning English at the age of 11. I am still looking for a solution to help my daughters and all those who are willing to work on their own to acquire knowledge.

Hello, my name is Diego. I am from Colombia. I want to learn English in order to know many cultures around the world. I agree with people who think that the culture has influence in the languages and vice versa. It could explain why there is a theory that says a good languages teacher is that who speaks the same mother tongue than the learner. Well, that’s what I think.

My name is Yadigar.
I am from Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan is a country in the Southern Caucasus region of Euroasia. Azerbaijan has common border with Russia, Iran, Georgia, Armenia and Turkey. Azerbaijan is bounded by the Caspian Sea to the east. The coastline stretches for 800 km.
Azerbaijan’s total area is about 87 000 square kilometers. 20 percent of the country’s territory is occupied by Armenia in 1992-1994.
Azerbaijan is rich in oil and natural gas.
Total population of Azerbaijan is about 9 million people.
Azerbaijani is the most widely spoken language in the country. Azerbaijani is a Turkic language and is mutually intelligible with Turkish.
Most of ethnic Azerbaijani people live in Iran (West Azerbaijan, East Azerbaijan, Zencan, Tehran and other regions)
Azerbaijan was divided by Russian Empire and Iran in 1813 and 1828 (The Turkmenchay Treaty). From 1500 till 1925 Iran was ruled by Azerbaijanian dynasty.
