I’m from India. India as most of you know is a vast country with more than 25 states and 26 languages. Populationwise it’s the second largest country in the world. India is a wonderful country. It’s one of those few countries where you can find different types of weather conditions, a huge variety of flora and fauna, mountains, rivers, lakes - you name it, everything’s here. Our national bird is peacock whose plumage (feathers covering its body) is gorgeous and our national animal is lion - an extremely graceful animal. India has many things to boast about - one of them being hospitality. Indians are very warm and friendly and I’m proud to be Indian. For all this and more India attracts lots of tourists. And, of course, Indian cuisine is excellent. The mushrooming ‘curry houses’ all over the world goes to prove that.
