Just came across a new term: equestrian paths. Looked it up on Wikipedia and found “Saumpfad” as the German version, another word I hadn’t encountered before :-). Anyway, are you familiar with this term and concept? Interestingly enough there are no Wikipedia entries on equestrian or bridle paths in any Slavic language which leads me to conclude that this concept doesn’t exist in the Slavic world.
