When you refer as cunning what does mean? I can not picture BRAD as a bear,fox or wolf that’s why I selected “puppy”

This is a common expression and ‘as cunning as a fox’ suggests that someone is very sly and underhand because a fox is known for doing things in a way that you cannot guess. The fox, as it were, does something behind your back and you don’t realise it.

can you please use this word sly in another sentences…

He gave her a sly grin. (Insinuating some secretive information in a negative way)
