No difference at all. Both are employed by the company.

I beg to differ. A worker is a person who works and does not have to be employed by a company; e.g., a writer is a worker who likely works at his/her own desk in his/her own home. A farmer is a worker, too, who very likely employs himself. “Worker” has a broader meaning than “employee” at the possibility of being without an employer, IMO.

I think…
A worker is a person who works for a company or organization but does not have a powerful/management position.
“Employee” is more general, describes a person who is paid to work for an organization or for another person.
