What's the difference between interested in seeing and interested to see?

So what is the difference between these two constructions:

I’m very interested to see your report.
I’m very interested in seeing your report.

Hi Torsten,

I think the main difference is between the act (infinitive) and the activity (gerund). The first sentence suggests that you would like to see the report and the second one suggests greater interest because it hints at the idea of your actually reading it.
