whats the difference between headed to and heading to?

.
None, really, in meaning. They are different perspectives of the same activity.

I am heading to work– present progressive; my activity now.
I am headed to work– ‘be’ + past participle, as sentence complement describing my current situation.

Hey Mister, thank you so much. Though i dont quite understand your explanation, at least i know there is no difference, which is good enough for me. Thanks again.
