what pleasure

“And just what pleasure had he found, since he came into this world?”
Is this sentence correct?
Could you please rephrase it for easy understanding?

It’s correct.

“And exactly what kind of pleasant experiences had he had since he was born?”

Hi,
Well, I have to say that both sentences are correct, another simple way of saying this (for easy understanding) would be:

Since he came into this world, what pleasure had/has he found.

Since he was born, exactly what kind of pleasant experiences had he had.

Hope this helps

I have a problem with this sentence

“Since he came into this world, what pleasure had he found.”

Please someone explain the idea that allows the pluperfect to be used. Is it about some other grammatical mood than indicative?

Thanks
