Hello Sir,
Good Morning. I am Tushar. During lesson 3, in a listening exercise, I heard a sentence ‘BY FOR NOW’. Can you please tell me the meaning of it?

Hello Rtushar,
Welcome to the English-test.net forums.
I think what you heard was actually “Bye for now.”
This is just a shortened form of saying “Goodbye for now”, which of course is simply a way of bidding farewell.
Why does it take a minute to say hello and forever to say goodbye? ~Author Unknown
By for now!-is a farewell, which expresses the hope that we 'll meet soon.
Goodbye has a meaning that we could meet perhaps in the near future or who knows when.
“Where is the good in goodbye?”-we say nowadays pleasantly: “By for now.” or “See you soon”.
Welcome, Kati Svaby, after a long time. How are you doing? By the way let me know whether it is BY or BYE. I don’t think Skrej is wrong.
There is no difference between the meanings of ‘goodbye for now’ and ‘Bye for now’. The shortened form is less formal.
Well, that’s it!
Hello, I didn’t speak about “goodbye for now”.
I spoke about that I feel distinctions between „by for now” and "Goodbye” .
For example :When I have been changing letters with somebody. I said at the end „by for now” . But when I don’t want to write letters anymore I could not finish the letter by the farewell „by for now”
but I could finish by „Goodbye! „
These farewells normally can be changeable, but there are situations when it can be used to express a final farewell, doesn’t it?
I have found these distinctions:
[Goodbye Quotes & Sayings (Farewell, Bye, We'll Miss You, Good Luck - Speeches, Cards, etc)]
(Goodbye Quotes & Sayings (Farewell, Bye, We'll Miss You, Good Luck - Speeches, Cards, etc))
“Where is the good in goodbye?” ~Meredith Willson, The Music Man
“Goodbyes are not forever.
Goodbyes are not the end.
They simply mean I’ll miss you
Until we meet again!”
~Author Unknown
etc.
I am sorry, but my messages go through twice, so I deleted the second one.
There is no such expression as
"By for now"spelled like that.
The correct spelling is
“Bye for now”.
I can only repeat what I’ve already indicated:
There is no difference in meaning between “Goodbye for now” and “Bye for now” other than that the shorter expression is less formal. The one you choose to use doesn’t make any difference to the ‘finality’ of the farewell.
On the other hand -
