What is substantivised adj?

What is substantivised adj? How is it used? Please give me some examples.
Is this sentence right or wrong:
Her beautiful today makes me surprised.
And how different is it compared to this:
Her beauty makes me surprised.

Thanks for your time.

.
It’s an adjective used as a noun:

The rich get rich and the poor get poorer.
‘The Good, the Bad and the Ugly’ is one of the best Westerns ever made
.

Her beautiful today surprises me.-- I suppose that this is OK, but it seems quite awkward to me. In any case, it obviously refers to the fact that she is beautiful for today only.

Her beauty surprises me.-- She is always beautiful; it is a permanent quality.
.

Quote:

==>> I am quite used to this usage, but “Her beautiful” is so strange for me. Are you sure it is right in standard English?

.
It’s not a substantivised adjective. Her (being) beautiful today surprises me.
.

So you mean the sentence “Her beautiful today surprises me” is completely wrong?

.
No, it’s just not a substantivized adjective.
.

Then what is it? Could you please what kind of sentence (or syntax) it is?
And please give me some more examples if possible
Thank you so much

The sentence sounds so strange…
Please give me a clearer explaination and some more examples of this kind
Thank you very much.

Hi Nessie

Mister Micawber has already said that he finds the usage quite awkward. I agree. I would not recommend trying to imitate it, and don’t see any good reason to post further examples of an awkward usage.
