What is e-mook/mook?

What is the difference between an e-mook or mook (magazine+book) with the usual magazine?

Never heard of it (or them), but Dictionary.com offers:

Mook: a thin book with the look, design, and layout of a magazine, usually having a Japanese anime theme.

How interesting it sounds! More and more new words are appearing!
By the way, I can’t find the pronunciation of the word ‘anime’. Can you help me? (I adore anime!)

Personally, I think they resemble books of something in particular, like a collection or series of stuffs, like a brand (with little words). Just my impression, never really figured the real difference anyway.
