Hi teachers,
Please see below:
[color=blue]Woman have frequently used more concessive language than men and have often talked less than men in mixed-sex conversations.
What does “concessive language” mean?
Does “mixed-sex” mean male and female mixed together?
Thanks in advance

Hi Jupiter
Concessive language concedes a point in an argument and uses, for example, words such as although, nevertheless, admittedly, even if, despite, etc.
Yes, mixed-sex conversations means conversations in which there are both male and female participants.
