'What i thought was' - is this correct? or - 'What i thought is'

Which one is correct -
“What i thought was we had the file on C drive”
“What i thought is we had the file on C drive”

  • The File is now also on C drive -
  1. Can i use "will do " or “would do” in the situations stated below:
  • I am giving some documents to claim an Insurance policy. I have given 3 documents, and asking the other person - “Will / Would these 3 documents do”-?

-To get my account activated in a bank, i am asking like this -“Would these details do/ will these details do?”
Which one is correct? And is this usage proper?
