What does this expression mean: "none the worse for his experience"?

none the worse for his experience :?:

Well, I think this expression is used to describe a situation in which a person might be facing an incident that potentially could affect their physical condition but they manage to escape unscathed. So, as a result the person doing OK and everything is fine for them.[YSaerTTEW443543]

TOEIC short conversations: A customer books a flight to Tokyo.[YSaerTTEW443543]

Yes, agreed, it means that it all turned out OK in the end. eg: He might have been killed, but in the end, he was none the worse for the experience.
