what does mean" Matrix" in headlines?

Well, that sounds quite philosophical and mystical 
A matrix can be many things, depending on the context in which the word is used. I would say that the “matrix of existence” is the origin of one’s being, but that is my personal interpretation. Let me know if that makes sense to you.

I had never heard of @Torsten’s meaning for “matrix”, but apparently it is the oldest meaning and comes from the Latin for mother, like the word maternal. Matrix then can mean something that gives birth to or brings into existence something else.

This is not a normal use of the word. I think of matrix as something like inter-connectivity, or a grid.
I watched part of the video. It appears to mean something like the environment in which life evolves and grows.
By the way, the stuff this guy talks about is new age pseudo-science. There is no real science behind it. He starts off talking about real science, to make it sound good. Then he takes a leap into new age nonsense with nothing to back it.
