What does it means "Do i want to know" ?

I heard it in a movie lately, it simply doesn’t add up, plz explain what this expression “do i want to know” implies. here’s example:

Person 1: “Do I want to know how you know all that?”
Person 2: I had a life before you knew me.!

You saw that in “The Fast and the Furious”

“Do I want to know…?” means that you are (absolutely) not interested in how people got the information or knowledge.

“I had a life before I knew you” means I also have a past in which things happened.
