What does “consider it done” mean?
Think it finished
It’s similar to See sth done, to some extent.
It means, “You can be completely sure I will do it.” It is a promise so strong that the person who wants it should think of the task as already finished, even though it hasn’t been started yet.
Oh I got it. Consider here implies that it’s not been finished, right?
It has not even been started … but it WILL be done.
