There was a lot of things I didn’t like about him, he spent a lot of time on his computer, and he had some "beauty flaws" and certain behaviours I didn’t like.

Hey guys,

What does beauty flaws mean?

It does not seem a natural phrase to me, but I suppose it means that he was less than handsome.

Could it be ‘beauty spots/marks’ or ‘blemishes’ that the author meant? Compare: “How To Fix Your Beauty Flaws With Makeup? - Beauty and Makeup Tips”

I don’t think so. Girls are not so repelled by boys’ beauty spots. Where did you get that caption or headline, Eugene? Can you provide a link?

As that site says, ‘beauty flaws’ are ‘any fine lines and wrinkles,…blackheads, brown spots and pimples’, not ‘beauty spots’. In Aikuzo’s text, the man’s ‘beauty flaws’ are worse than fine lines and wrinkles.

One way or another, we’ve picked up a couple of new words, haven’t we, thanks to Aikuzo and Mister Micawber.

The absence of flaw in beauty is itself a flaw.
