What does “bear it well” here mean?

Aslan solemnly crowned them and led them to the four thrones amid deafening shouts of, “Long Live King Peter! Long Live Queen Susan! Long Live King Edmund! Long Live Queen Lucy!”

From a simple language point of view, you might say “fully accept their monarchy.”

From a literary/poetic point of view you might say something like “take joy in your new rulers.”
