What can be the plural of the name ending with an 's'?

This is a question which I could not fully answer instantly on a private forum.

Is a name singular or plural?

A name, which is most usually singular, can also be used as plural.

Suppose we have Mr Smith and Mrs.Smith as our neighbours. When we want to refer to them both, we may call them the Smiths. The Smiths can also be the members of the Mr Smith’s family. (Here you find the name Smith is pluralized and preceded by the.

Now my question is: ‘How do we pluralize such names as will end with an ‘s’ like James, Thomas and Lucas?’

As far as I know, the plural forms of those names are the Jameses, the Thomases and the Lucases. Let’s see what Alan says…
