Many thanks that you deleted SPAM.
It took me many hours that I found the mistake in my laptop. The truth is after the spam arrived everything began to go wrong. I was working with my laptop when I noticed that two new notifications arrived I saw them and they were spam. All my threads appeared in Hungarian translation.
I wrote emails also, as I suspected the spammer was there because when I wrote the letters to you on the Forum and when I sent it my text appeared. only my slogan in Hungarian translation was there. All my threads appeared in Hungarian translation. That’s why I was forced to write emails because I didn’t find any solution to let you know what had happened.
My technician told me that I had to look for in the Google Chrome the page where I can see whether the sign is next to " I don’t want to translate the English pages " I have no idea how this sign got “I want to translate the English pages”. It is sure that I didn’t do anything only I try to write to you.
Now everything works well. Only I would like if you delete the poems from the thread of “Do you love nature?”
I am very sorry. Believe me that I am helpless, me also.

Yesterday night I became very frightened. It is impossible to describe the events. When I saw the whole english-test.net appears in Hungarian. Everybody’s letters were translated into a convoluted Hungarian.
And when I tried to notify somebody, my letter disappeared and only my slogan in Hungarian translation went through.
I lost my head. I was totally helpless. So I wrote and wrote the letters because I didn’t know whether the letters could be gone through.
I hope that you and the others understand this situation. It is in a nutshell, it was really dreadful.
I hope in your goodwill and understanding. And I hope that nobody thinks that I went crazy. I tried to describe indescribable.

I was offline for a few hours. As Torsten has explained, spammers use automated systems so that they can post a great number of things in a very short space of time.
I’m dealing with it, but it doesn’t help that you have written in three separate threads about this, two of which you’ve started for that very purpose. Please have a little patience.

Now I know that he became aware of my notification so it was a fun for him to spam my server and put a tick to “Every English text can be translated into Hungarian”. I have to find this place in the Google chrome. It took me several hours to find this mistake.
I belong to those who got already min. five times Spam. The first was after a letter, I wrote some words of praise to Alan. After this letter I received a defamatory spam. Somebody noticed it and deleted it before I could have known what to do.

Torsten asked you to tell me that I have a little patience. Bez, my patience is wearing so thin that I ask you to tell Torsten to turn off my server or do anything but I don’t want to receive SPAM. This night I had nightmare because what happened in the evening. Till now if I got a notification from the Forum I was happy and curious, now if I got a notification I am scared of it.
Please tell Torsten that I 've had enough of this. I’d renounce Forum’s notifications because I can’t tolerate any more to be at the mercy of a spammer!

The spammer would not have been able to change your settings, Kati.
He is not targetting you specifically.
It is nothing to do with your server.

I hope you are not his batman.
- I seriously doubt that the spammer would have changed your settings. I suspect that you accidentally clicked ‘always translate this site’ on the Google translation offer which often comes up automatically of a page does not appear in your native language. - This is one of the reasons why I disagree with your spammer about (1).

I’m not certain if one is deployed when people join the group but it would certainly be very onerous to have to fill one in with each post. I have not spoken to you on behalf of Torsten and I don’t know where you get that idea from. All the messages I have posted above, and this one, are my own views.

You seem to be so irritated with spam calm down It doesn’t deserve all that reaction! It’s only a spam at the end and the forum team are always ready to delete it! I have never seen a spam or even worth, “improper content”, remaining on this forum for more than an hour or so
By the way, the advertisement on your threads contained nice dresses! Didn’t you like any of them? hahahahahahahahahahaha I liked the blue one hahahahahahahaha
As for the CAPTCHA, it helps a lot, still, it will never fully stop the spammers! It’s a viscous cycle battle between the spammers and spam detection programmers, when the latter succeed to limit the capabilities of spammers through a new program or technique, the spammers develop even more “evil” techniques to overcome the new “barriers”!

The spammer and me were there in the same time on your server as I opened my notification in the same minute when he send me spam. He could see that I wanted to write a warning to you and I saw my warning only for a fraction of a second in English and it vanished. I saw a blank place with my slogan translated into Hungarian. Do you understand I wrote a letter in English, this disappeared , and immediately my slogan appeared in Hungarian. It was impossible that I would have had time to put a tick there you had said. NO KIND OF WINDOW didn’t appear. It happened in a split of second. This is the essence of the story.I wrote a second, a third warning but they also vanished. So nobody received my warnings so the SPAM could remain there till the morning.
Only the next morning when I could use my husband’s laptop I could send to you my warning.And you could delete them.
I am very sure that this happened in this way.

You are very nice that you try to console me. No the SPAM was interesting but that nobody believes me what had been going after to send my warning to the Forum.(not yesterday but before yesterday about at midnight.)
You can read it in my previous letter.
How could I do that in a spit second. I saw my English letter went through and I saw how quickly disappeared, and in the same moment the Hungarian translation began to work. When could I have time to switch over my laptop??? I saw the happenings than
" Rozi in the cinema" -say in Hungarian, when you see something as a incredible story.
I am planning that I look for a forum of computer and I will ask an explanation for this.

You don’t need ‘time to switch over your computer’. It takes a split second.
I know you are finding this difficult to understand but the spam was not just there for you. It was not personal. Everyone could see it. We didn’t need a warning about it.
You are always welcome Kati But don’t bother yourself asking further about what happened! You will waste your time because all what you’ll get from computer forums are complicated explanations loaded with high tech terminologies! Just let it go! And next time you see a spam try not to do anything, if it remains for more than an hour, then start complaining!
Spammers doesn’t target a single individual! It’s simply not PROFITABLE As for computers, servers and how the internet functions in general, it’s a long complicated full of twists and turns story that -again- you don’t have to worry about and start to analyze!! And believe me, these machines have sometimes unpredictable performance! In the end, they are just machines

Kati, both are true.
Torsten’s message was 27th March.
The spam, you are now speaking about is from 14th April, which I deleted!
There is spam on here most days. Most of it gets deleted before you even get a chance to see it.

Of course Torsten said’ thanks for pointing it out’. It’s polite to say ‘thank you’ when someone does something helpful, regardless of whether or not that help was needed.
On this occasion you said

The other what I saw it wasn’t an imagination it happened word for word as I told you.It was a dreadful spectacle.
I didn’t write that I want to leave the english-test.net there are lot of my uncompleted work what I would like to finish. I ask that find a solution to avoid spam if it commands a high price that you don’t send me notifications.

That’s not quite the way it works. The spam messages were on the forum for several hours because it just so happened that nobody who has the ability to remove them was online during that time. We are not manning the forums 24 hours a day.
Have you looked at the list in the link I sent you? Have you seen how many people remove spam?
“It takes a split second” is a common idiom in English. It means 'it takes no time at all/it happens immediately". It was meant to be neither ironic nor humorous.
