Dear Torsten,
I already got 2 emails from you. Thank you very much. Your lesson is simple and easy to follow. But, unfortunately, my computer has a problem with the speakers, so I can’t follow the listening parts. In the first test, I got 9 correct answers. I had mistake in the last question.
Hi, I am roque, I live in auckland, New zealand. I love learning and correcting myself all the time. I am so proud of this language, it helps me to understand the world better that we live in. Thanks for being my guide and mentor.
I am The French (new member), it’s not my real name.
I live in France, but I am Portuguese.
I have one question about the verb “be”.
When I write in English, I don’t know, if I should write I am or I’m.
I learned when I was young, I must write all the letters and not only the contraction form.
Somebody, perhaps can answer to my question (sorry for my mistakes, but I think in French and the grammar it’s a little different).
Thank.
The French
Both are acceptable. Perhaps in a formal correspondence " I am " would be more suitable.
.
Thank for your fast reply.
I need to go out to have a walk.
I came back on the forum more late.
Bye have a nice day (Don’t hesitate to made corrections if I make grammar errors).
The French
I need to go out now and take a walk.
I will come back / be back on the Forum later.
Bye, have a nice day .(Please don’t hesitate to make corrections if I have made any grammatical errors).
