used to carry vs. used to carrying

Hi everyone,
Which is correct:
Camels are still used to carry goods by some people.
or
Camels are still used to carrying goods by some people.

Camels are used to carrying goods (it’s a normal thing for them to carry goods).
Camels used to carry goods (they don’t carry goods anymore).

Camels are still used to carry goods.
Camels are still used for carrying goods.

Camels are used to carry goods. (it’s a normal thing for them to carry goods).

Camels were used to carry goods. (they don’t carry goods any more)

Camels used to carry goods. ‘used’ is pronounced differently here. (they don’t carry goods any more)

Thanks Bev,

(like he’s used to waking up early in the morning)
Do you think that works too?
