Use of "typical"

Hello everybody (Amy, in particular  )

I just read a sentence:

1- Using yours at the end of formal letters is more
typical than using ever yours.

Could you please tell me the meaning of the word typical here?

Tom

Hi Tom

There are a variety of ways to close a letter that you could call “typical”, i.e. that would fall into the “standard” category. For example:
Sincerely
Sincerely yours
Yours sincerely
Yours truly
Yours

Best regards,
Amy
