use of comma

Hi,

I read the following sentence in the media. I think that there should be a comma before ‘in which’, because the phrase ‘ in which….interest’ is a free modifier for ‘Stephenson Partners’. Am I correct in that?

[color=blue]The company’s primary supplier is Stepenson Partners in which the company’s senior management owns a controlling interest.

Thanks,

MG.
