Hi,
- She yearned for a child and prayed.
- She wanted a child for her and prayed.
Which of the above two is more opt and colloquial?
Please highlight me.
Thanks,
Er. S.M.M.Hanifa
Hi,
“To want” is more colloquial than “to yearn.”
I do not understand what you mean by “opt.”
Did you mean "enlighten me"?
Milanya, I think she means, “apt”.
