Usage of been/since

  1. It’s almost a year since we met.
  2. It’s been almost a year since we met.
  3. It’s almost been a year sincewe met.

Can some one please tell me if the above sentences are correct?

Hi,

I think you need to keep ‘almost’ next to the word it qualifies and that’s why I don’t like 3).

Alan

Thanks Alan.

By the way, is the first sentence OK? That looked a little odd to me (without been).

Hi,

Yes, both 1) and 2) are fine.
