Could you tell me which is correct?

She asked me some money.
She asked me for some money.
She asked some money from me.

I’d pick the second sentence:
She asked me for some money.
.

Hi Liza,

You have to distinguish between ‘ask’ and ‘ask for’. You can ask someone a question but when you ‘ask for’, you request something.
