Which sentences could be correct? Thanks

#1 and #4 work. The other two are wrong.

Dozy,

  1. She felt typically female.
  2. She felt to be typically female.
  3. She felt to be a typical female.
  4. She felt being typically female.
I can understand #1 and #2 are correct.
Could you please elucidate how #3 and #4 are wrong grammatically?
    Thanks.

2 is not correct. Only 1 is.

Beeesneees,
I expected your explanation why #2, #3 and #4 are wrong.
Can I say as below:

  1. She felt like being typically female.
  2. She felt like a typical female.
  3. She felt like being typically female.
Please comment and guide me with grammar points.

yes, those are okay.

“She felt like being typically female” seems unusual to me, and my guess is that it does not mean what you are thinking it does. It has a sense that she decided, on some particular occasion, that she wanted to behave in a typically female way.

Also note that #1 and #3 are the same, which I assume was not intended.
