Hi,would you please explain the difference between “type” & “kind”?

Often there isn’t one and they are synonymous.

The topic of a reading is “Job interview types”.
Why we don’t say “Job interview kind”?
(I hope my punctuation is correct this time.)

‘types’ here = categories.
