In my opinion, people attend college in order to prepare for their future life.
Firstly, students can learn a lot of new knowledge and gain experiences from studying in college, because, there are many teachers and professors with abundant teaching experiences who teach students and help them to solve the problems in their studies. With their help, students can learn a lot of useful basics and professional knowledge which is very helpful for their future work and study. After, they finish their study in college, they go to work in the society and contribute to the different fields.
Secondly, college education is a necessary step for a person who wants to start a career in science and technology. If a student wants to become a good scientist, he must learn at a science school. When people have a lot of knowledge and experiences, they become very self-confident in order to accomplish their work well and achieve success early.
Finally, studying in college allows students to have opportunities to live with other students and learn how to cooperate with other people. Sometimes, people have uncomfortable feeling to live with strangers, because their habits and personalities are different. Therefore, when students cooperate with each other and solve a lot of problems together, they will learn how to care for and understand other people. This is preparation for students to go to cooperate with other people in society.
