People do many different things to stay healthy. What do you do for good health?
In my country we say that health is the most important “property”. Therefore, we must follow many rules for healthy life. In the following part of this essay I will expose my opinion about some things which improve our state of health. I think that they are several important things - sport activities, good diet, less smoking and drinking. Also, if we want to stay healthy, we must decrease stress factors.
Firstly, movement is the core of human nature. We know that our ancestors had been hunters and farmers. Also, they had been gathered fruits and vegetables. These activities are related with many physical activities. Nowadays, many professions are related with sedentary work conditions. Dressmakers, for instance, spend a lot of time on the chair close to the sewing machine. As a result many people acquire overweight, which is serious disease.
However, professions, which are related with sedentary work conditions, are not problems for the people which keep healthy diet. Our body needs a lot of vitamins and minerals. Therefore, vegetables and fruits are necessity for the human body. However, many people eat foods, which are rich of carbohydrates and insufficient to vitamins and minerals. I think that right diet is related to good health condition.
Although, sport activities and right diet are very important things, they are insufficient for the good health. Smoking, drinking and drugs are enemy number one against good health. These substances destroy many important human organs. Smoking, for instance, harms lungs and teeth. I think that if we want to keep good health, there is one easy way - give up smoking.
Nowadays, stress is problem number one in many countries. According to scientists, stress causes cancer and psychical diseases. There are several ways to cure stress symptoms. Nature is one of the best soothers of stress. Taking a quiet walk in a park or watching a beautiful sunset can do wonders. Even reminiscing about such a scene from your past, or simply imagining one, allows your stress level to drop.
In conclusion, I think that things, which are exposed above, are sufficient for good health. Nowadays, it’s not very easy to observe this rules but I try to do that. I believe that these simple things are enough for good health.
