Do you agree or disagree with the following statement: Countries should not isolate themselves from the world but instead engage other countries.
The issue at hand is whether countries should isolate themselves from the international community or should engage with each other. The issue is important because it has a great effect on the lives of each one of us. I believe that a country should not isolate itself from the world but instead cooperate with other countries. This is because it is beneficial for each partner concerning the technology, trade and information sector.
Cooperation is preferable over isolation as it is necessary for an exchange of technological innovations. The exchange of new technical procedures or machines has advantages for the delivering and the receiving country. The receiver benefits from the new technique as he can enhance their own production. In turn the delivering business or country knows that they will get either money or an other innovation in exchange. So cooperation is beneficial to both involved countries.
Secondly cooperation is the foundation to trade. A country that does not trade with other countries will have only a tiny variety of different goods accessible. This is disadvantageous not only to the country’s industry but also for its inhabitants. Imagine you would live in Germany and you could not simply go to the supermarket and buy a banana, your favorite fruit, only because your government does not cooperate with a banana-producing country. Engagement with other countries is to be preferred because it is the basis to product variety.
Finally cooperation is superior to the isolation in means of exchanging information. Today’s science brings up new discoveries or innovations every single day. If this knowledge would not be shared, how should people become educated or get along in their everyday lives? Considering a very basic thing that affects each one of us, the weather. Without sharing information nobody would be able to predict the weather and there would be no accurate weather forecast on TV. Cooperation is the way to provide the world with information.
Ultimately considering the points I just made, engagement is the better choice. I believe this because it is beneficial to every country and its inhabitants. It is the basis to the forthcoming of our industry, trade and science and in addition the source of our everyday life comforts.

Ahmadinajad has got many haters around the world due his political views. For me he is one the icons of the revolution. Like Che, Fidel and Chaves, Ahmadinajad is one of those who manage to face the United the States. This is admirable. The world needs this kind of people. Those who fight against exploration, slavery and imperialism. I’m sorry to disappoint you Mixmixi.
You know Tom, I don’t know where are you living, but everything that you are seeing my friend, is a sketchy perspective. In my country, he is killing many people for becoming admirable in the view of the world, he is impoverishing about 80 percent of my people to save the Palestine and Lebonan, On the other hand to UNITED THE STATES, in your opinion my friend. For sure the world needs this kind of people, because with lacking of them, who will tries to build a nuclear bomb? And about the imperialism part my friend, I can not tell you anything while I am living in a completely dictatorial country.
Today, I can see a lot of poor people in the streets who are not financially able to buy a piece of bread to eat, whilst we are living in a rich country which has lots of oil resources. Today, the newspapers announced that about 360 billion dollars of benefits of selling our oil in that past year is lost, And you think who is behind all of these? Yes, that’s the Mr. HERO! Most of the demonstrators are in jails, everyone who tries to talk against them will probably goes to jail for rest of his life, some of them are executing everyday. And that’s the democracy which we have. You are to far away from what we have here my friend. How can someone be lovable while he is obnoxious in his country?
I don’t know much about your country my friend. You live in Iran and your know what’s happening more than me. Everywhere you go you’ll see the same things you see in your own country: poverty, poor people and homeless. Even in the United the States. I don’t trust in the US. Behind their actions there’s an interest. I’m afraid that what happened in Iraq and Afghanistan few years ago, the same history can repeat in your country. If you think that your country is going in wrong way, fight for your rights. But don’t let them use you and other people who oppose Ahmadin to achieve their goals.
Dear Tom, you are right about that. And the people in my country are in a fight against the government because they want a few basic parts. Tom, we are even richer than Saudi Arabia, but the situation of people in my country is not comparable with them. And after all, I forgot to tell you, he is a great liar too. He is always acting in reverse of his tellings! lol.
